
The Red Stag team is happy to help you plan your next gathering or celebration! We like to tailor each party to your needs. We can do sit down or buffet style dinners or cocktail parties with only passed hors de oeuvres. We will create a menu on a per head basis or put out a certain amount of food based on a budgeted number. You may have an open bar for your guests, give them drink tickets, or, buy bottles of wine for the tables. Our menus change seasonally. If you want to have your party on an evening when we are usually full, you may be asked to spend a minimum. We strongly encourage you to visit the restaurant before booking your party. Most parties need to be arranged two weeks in advance. Below are some guidelines for having your party or business gathering at the Red Stag
The bar manager is happy to create a specialty cocktail menu for your party. You may also choose to have an open bar, or, to give your guests drink tickets for a specific price tier. We are also happy to create a wine tasting from our list, or, to arrange to bring different wines in.
Food for this type of party can be passed hors de oeuvres, or, we can set up a buffet table.
Our dining room features two large tables that seat up to 18 and 12, respectively; we can accommodate parties of up to 50 for a sit down dinner. If your party is bigger than that, we cannot at this time do a sit down dinner for your group. We are happy to do a more informal gathering for larger groups, depending on the requested time and day of the week. Please see above.
For large sit down dinners, Chef Baskin is happy to build a coursed dinner from our menu for your guests, or to add special dishes at your request. Typically, we would do a three or four course dinner, offering a choice between a fish, meat, and vegetarian selection for the main course. We can work within your budget, or, the sky is the limit!
