Millions Billions & The Tendercakes
Lets Dance has quickly become one of Minneapolis' best kept secrets. Once a month (every second Saturday) The Red Stag removes it's supper club attire and plays host to a unique dance party - which is rare these days. Millions Billions, Monsterbrusten and a revolving line up of djs keep people moving to old, new and future dancefloor classics. Attitudes are checked at the door for an event that, rightfully so, boasts a "disproportionate amount of beautiful ladies".

Fork the Fire Benefit
There's nothing like the power of food to bring everyone together. That's why over 70 restaurants will rise up in force to help Heidi's and Blackbird - two Twin City restaurants that lost everything recently during a tragic fire in south Minneapolis. We will be donating a portion of our sales on Sunday March 14th.

Lingua Luna
Lingua Luna is one of Minneapolis' newest contemporary folk groups. With degrees and backgrounds in theatre and art, The Ladies have come to their musical collaboration after years of friendship and scores of other multi-media pursuits. Each bring a different flavor of talent to the band: Annie is the arranger, pursuing the art of the written note. Rhiannon composes chord progressions and lyrics solely by emotion and Jen adds the necessary nuance to each song, learning new styles and instruments as needed. Some of the music stems from good ole classical training. Some of it arrives in the form of straight-up improvisation, when lessons of old fail to provide inspiration... but most of it's just fairy dust.
