Loose and carefree, open and optimistic, the music on James Buckley's new CD, "James Buckley Trio," finds itself by taking it's time. The trio - James, Bryan Nichols, and J. T. Bates - are not in a hurry: they explore without haste, and the payoff is that they achieve a sound that is spacious and natural, and never forced.
